According to the statistics there is more the count of active Facebook pages have reached to three million and these pages are getting thousands and millions of new fans each day. Something that started with ‘Become a fan’ and now exists as ‘Like’ still holds the same meaning in the user’s mind. We still call the people joining the page as ‘Fans’.

Recession did one good thing; it emerged a number of small businesses. Many businesses started in basement of the house, with three to four people and a very small budget. The problem which these businesses faced was for marketing.
A million dollar investment covers everything from human resources to marketing, but with a small business, the marketing expenditure does not cover paying for billboards and TV adds.

Privacy is one thing every user is concerned but unfortunately they do not get the amount of security they are looking for. Facebook, who has been a victim of hackers attack every now and then and has somehow disappointed its users, Google+ might be using this as its trump card.

With all different Social Networking Sites coming up every now and then, who wants to join another one? Unless you want to reach a number of 40 million users! Yes that’s right, with Facebook leading with 800 million users and twitter with 200 million users, Google+ is the new social media.

So you have more fans following you on Facebook but fewer visitors on your website?
On one end where Facebook has become a great way of interacting with your potential customers, website is still our preferred medium which our customers should reach. As Twitter was taken by Facebook and soon we have Google+ inline waiting to be the next big social medium. What remains consistent is your website.
A quick way coming to your mind is to point everything from your Fan Page to your Webpage, but this will jeopardize to lose the fans who want all updates on Facebook.
